The Unique Charm of Naperville
Joseph Naper founded the settlement in 1831, it incorporated as a village in 1857 and as a city in 1890, and it is now the fourth most populous city in Illinois with about 149,540 residents. That scale means two very different lighting jobs inside one city. Ten minutes west, a subdivision house off Route 59 presents the opposite problem: a long uninterrupted roofline where any inconsistency in spacing, or any sag between clips, is immediately obvious because there is nothing to break the eye. Same crew, same day, two different standards of what good looks like.
