The Unique Charm of Lincoln Park
Lincoln Park runs from Diversey Parkway south to North Avenue, and from the Chicago River east to Lake Michigan, about 3.17 square miles holding roughly 68,000 people. It took its name in 1865, after Lincoln's assassination, having been called Lake Park before.
